What are your hours?
The shop is open Tuesday through Saturday 11-8pm and Sunday 11-4pm. Closed Mondays. Curbside pickup is available during all operating hours.
Do you deliver?
We deliver within a 10 mile radius Tuesday through Friday. All orders placed by 3pm will be delivered the same day. Orders placed after 3pm will arrive the following delivery day.
Do you make custom cases?
It’s our favorite part of the job! Please call the store 804-505-3150 or email erin@secondbottlewine.com if you are interested in having us curate a case for you.
What kind of snacks do you carry?
We carry a variety of tinned fish, cured meats, chocolate and fresh cheeses cut weekly by Truckle Cheesemongers. We have fresh baguettes delivered from Flour Garden Bakery every Thursday, Friday and Saturday and various flavors of shortbread from Cafe Warshafsky.
Can you ship wine in/out of state?
Sadly, we cannot.
Do you offer tastings?
We do! Thursday evenings from 5-7pm. No fee or reservation required.
Do you host events/private parties?
We do rent our space for private tastings or events. Please reach out to erin@secondbottlewine.com with all inquiries.
Do you have a wine club?
Currently, we do not. If you are interested in receiving wine monthly, we can set this up on an individual basis. Let us know.
Do you sell gift cards?
We offer digital gift cards that can be emailed directly to the recipient. We also offer physical gift cards in-store that can be purchased for any dollar amount.
What is your return policy?
We do not accept returns of unopened bottles as we cannot be sure how the bottle(s) were treated once they left the store. We will accept the return of corked bottles. Unfortunately, it’s bound to happen. If you encounter a corked bottle, please return the wine to the store in exchange for a new one. We cannot provide you with a new bottle unless the corked bottle is returned.
Special orders?
If there is a wine you would like to purchase, but we don’t have the quantity you need, please contact us for a special order.
